We are delighted to be working with a NEW Early Years customer Locking Stumps Early Years Nursery teaching yoga to their children for the next 6 weeks.

Today we practised our breathwork, sun salutations, introducing the children to yoga poses through our Indian story and a relaxation under blankets.

It was so rewarding at the end of the session for their Manager Sarah to feedback that she had never seen the children so still and relaxed.

A great end to the week 👍🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

Yoga addresses the 3 Prime areas of Learning and Development and it's associated ELGs.

Photos from Graceful Minds Childrens Yoga's post

It has been great to be back at Stockton Heath Primary School and St Bridget's Catholic Primary School, Warrington this week working with their children.

We have some new props and as our main yoga theme was 'balance' we practised lots of balance poses using our bean bags on our bodies to increase focus and concentration.

We used the windmills during our breathwork to teach self-regulation. Connecting the body and mind.

Yoga addresses key areas and judgement areas of the new Ofsted Framework being introduced from September 2019.

Please contact us to incorporate yoga into your School setting.

Namaste 🙏
