❇NOW TAKING BOOKINGS❇

SATS 2020 takes place from May 11th - May 14th next year for KS2 Children in Year 6.

Our 'SATS Stess Busting Yoga' was extremely popular last year with glowing feedback from the Schools we worked with and their Parents. All of which have made repeat bookings with us again for 2020 ✅

By practising calming and restorative yoga techniques, breath control work and meditation this should help to minimise any stresses, tension and worries for the Children prior to the tests.

We are offering a 6 week course of 30 minutes classes (6x 30 mins) for £200.00. If you require more sessions, not a problem, we can tailor the course to suit your needs.

The course would be commencing in March 2020 (or beforehand) as we have the Easter Holiday in April.

Please share this post with your child's Headteacher or Head of Year 6 to recommend they consider our yoga service prior to SATS.

Yoga is scientifically proven to improve our physical health and emotional health and wellbeing. Children need yoga in their lives more than ever before. Early intervention and prevention ✅

Please contact us to secure your 2020 booking.

Namaste 🙏

As it was 🎆'Bonfire Night'🎇we had a firework themed yoga class at Stockton Heath Primary School Stockton Heath Primary School Parents

We started the class with mindful colouring of a firework picture whilst the children waited for other children to get ready.

We reinforced the Schools Goldren Rules and that they also applied to our yoga.

🎆We practised breath control work using coloured juggling scarves and imagining we were a rocket firework, inhaling any negative emotion from our bodies stretching our arms up high with a clap then making a "ssssssshhhhhhhh" noise on our exhale taking our arms down shaking our coloured scarves.

🎇We talked about the importance of looking after our pets and animals on bonfire night and protecting them from the noise. We practised our dog pose 🐶, cat pose 🐱 and a rabbit 🐰

🎆Using our coloured scarves the children practised lots of different yoga poses as fireworks and even created their own and demonstrated them to the class.

We then all danced around to the song 💥"Firework"💥 which was so much fun 😁

To end the class the children listened to a calming meditation under blankets during relaxation.

We currently have availability to run an After School Club on a Wednesday so please contact us if you would like to incorporate this at your School.

Yoga increases activity and improves overall wellbeing for children and young people.

Namaste 🙏

✴NEW CUSTOMER NEWS✴

We are delighted to be providing a Yoga After School Club to St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School in Latchford on a Monday for KS1 and KS2 children.

We started the club by practising our Sun Salututation sequence, Surya Namaska, to warm up our bodies.

We then practised breath control work using our hoberman spheres to self regulate and calm our bodies and minds.

We passed around our Gratitude Ball to each other saying something that we were grateful for in our lives ❤

The children were then introduced to all the different types of yoga poses, balance pose, back bend, inversion, lateral bend, forward bend, twists, seated pose, core strength and hip opener pose. Ending in child pose to prepare ourselves for relaxation 🙏

The children ended the club lay on their mats with blankets and eye pillows whilst we read a meditation to them. The hall lights went off and it was lovely and dark for them to gain maximum benefit from the relaxation. Learning that it's okay to stop and have calm time.

The children did so well and loved the relaxation at the end. Commenting they had nearly fallen asleep and had really enjoyed the class.

We have space for 9 more children to join us so please contact the School Office if your child would like to join the club 👍

Yoga is a wonderful way to increase activity and improve physical health, emotional health and wellbeing in children.

If your child doesn't engage with sports and dislikes competitive sports then yoga is perfect for them.

Namaste 🙏
