It's the last day of term for many Schools across Warrington today. We would just like to take this opportunity say a huge yoga thank you to all of our Customers, children and followers for working with us over the past 6 months.

Yoga is an effective early intervention tool to support both the physical and mental health of all children. Both of which should be at the heart of ensuring young people are ready and will thrive in the adult world.

We are extremely passionate about helping children and young people in Warrington and in our first 6 months we have taught yoga to over 1500 children. Which makes our heart smile knowing we have connected with so many 😍

There is a huge yoga movement happening across the UK and we are so proud to be part of this helping children and young people.

The new Ofsted Framework places more focus on mental health and yoga addresses many areas for Schools and the Health Education subjects.

Yoga for every School we say 👍💯🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

Have a wonderful Summer break and we look forward to working with you in the new Academic Year.

Namaste 🙏

Wow, what an amazing full day onsite today teaching yoga at Barrow Hall Primary School Warrington to Year 1 - Year 6 as part of their Health and Wellbeing week.

Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of your important week for the students.

We delivered 12 yoga classes today to over 400 Students!!! Our largest number of Students in one day to date.

So proud and happy to have shared our yoga skills and coping techniques with the children.

If we helped just one child in each class then we have done our job 👍

Lots of lovely positive comments from the children at the end of each session. One boy telling us he wished he had learnt our breathing technique earlier as it would have helped him at the weekend to calm his anger. They all particularly enjoyed our guided meditation and relaxing. Learning that it is okay to stop, to be calm and to bring peace to the mind.

Yoga connects the body and mind and addresses key areas of the Ofsted Framework and Health Education subjects.

If you would like to incorporate yoga at your School setting please contact us.

🙏

Yoga in Every School

It's great to see our work being shared 👍🙏

HOW DOES YOGA ADDRESS THE 3 PRIME AREAS OF LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE EYFS FRAMEWORK AND THEIR ASSOCIATED ELGs?

Yoga addresses the 3 Prime Areas of Learning and Development of the EYFS Framework and their associated ELGs.

1. Communication & Language

✅Yoga develops a child’s listening and speaking skills and builds confidence in self-expression.

2. Physical Development

✅Yoga is a physical activity that is beneficial for both the body and mind. A child will learn about their body, how it moves and develop their co-ordination, balance, strength, flexibility and control. They will learn the importance of a healthy body and happy mind.

3. Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED)

✅Yoga boosts self-confidence, self-awareness and social skills. By practising calming breathing techniques and relaxation a child will learn how to manage feelings and to have calm time. They also learn how to respect themselves and others around them and manage their feelings and behaviour.
