✴Day 4 - Alphabet Yoga✴

⭐Letter Hh for Happy Baby Pose 👶

✅Benefits: This pose releases the lower back and sacrum. Opens hips, inner thighs, and groin. Stretches the hamstrings. Relieves lower back pain. Stretches and soothes the spine. Calms the brain and helps to relieve stress and fatigue.

⭐Letter Ii for Inhale - Abdominal Breathing with a teddy

✅Benefits: Self regulation is an important life skill for children. Learning to control and slow down the breath to calm the mind and body. The toy gives the child a focus point and brings them into the present moment. Slowly inhaling in through the nostrils for the count of 3 watching our toy rise on the abdomen. Then exhaling for a count of 3 watching our toy fall on the abdomen. Repeat this 3 - 5 times. Breath control work is calming, relaxing and learning a child that it is okay to stop and have quiet time. Taking a child into a safe place 🥰

We hope you enjoyed the demonstration from Grace aged 4 years old.
