Are you a Pre School Centre Manager, Parent or have connections with #EYFS?

We are working with Pre Schools in #Warrington incorporating #yoga into their School day for their 3 - 4 year old children.

How does yoga support the EYFS Framework?

The EYFS Framework consists of 3 Prime areas of learning and development. These are, Communication and Language, Physical Development and Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED).

C&L - Yoga develops a child's listening and speaking skills and builds confidence in self-expression.

PD - Yoga is a physical activity that is beneficial for both the body and mind. A child will learn about their body, how it moves and develop their co-ordination, balance, flexibility and control. They will learn the importance of a healthy body and happy mind.

PSED - Yoga boosts self-confidence, self-awareness and social skills. By practising calming breathing techniques and relaxation a child will learn how to manage feelings and to have calm time. They also learn how to respect themselves and others around them.

Our yoga sessions also include literacy and mathematics as we use stories, books and themes and use counting and numbers.

Our 30 minute yoga session will include breathing techniques, yoga poses to a theme or story, songs, music, props and a relaxation. But most of all it's lots of fun 😀

By introducing yoga as an early intervention and prevention strategy this will build resilience at a young age.

Graceful Minds Children's Yoga are a LiveWire Business Partner, DBS checked and insured, YogaKidz qualified Teacher for ages 3 - 12 years and working with Schools across Warrington.

We charge £30.00 for a 30 minute session. We can work with you termly, half termly, 6 months or a full year contract.
